Your notes are ordinary files in a folder you picked. Sync, history and export sit on top of that, never in place of it.

• Plain text — grep them, git them, keep them forever.
• iCloud sync — Three-way merge with conflict markers, not last-write-wins.
• Version history — A 30-day timeline with word-level diffs and non-destructive restore.
• Export — PDF, EPUB, HTML, RTF, TXT and Markdown. Word and OpenDocument are Mac only.
• Import — 18 formats, including PDF, PowerPoint, Excel — and text lifted out of images.
